Project Info
Capital Arcania is a Kentucky start up project aimed at facilitating a community of independent artists through media and online resources.
We have 3 goals:
1. Building our website and 24 hour live stream "Independent Radio" in support of independent creators and business owners.
2. Creating online directories to serve as resources for connecting artists, consumers, and small businesses.
3. Facilitating an online community that values individual support, creativity, and collaboration between artists.
(MC Silo) This is my passion project. If an included artist no longer wishes to be on the site, they should contact me to be removed from the website and subsequent platforms.
In its current form, this project is not scalable and is meant to serve only as a minimal viable product.
An unsigned artist, unsigned band or independent artist is a musician or musical group not under a contract with a record label. Bands that release their own material on self-published CDs can also be considered unsigned bands.
Independent Radio is a 24/7 underground music stream showcasing the Independent Artists on this website or anyone who is part of our community. Plans for this project include interactive segments where we hosts viewing parties, create collaborative content, and track the growth of included artists. The stream will accessible exclusively on Volume.com. Original Video Content premiering on the stream will continue to loop indefinitely. For passive segments, we will match music with independent visual art to showcase on the stream. Visual art will be purchased from the artist directly or retrieved from GIPHY.
The stream will credit all art used and feature a QR code linking viewers to the musical artist page on this website or Linktree profile.
This format allows us to easily promote artist content for free once files are retrieved.
Passive content will resemble that of Lofi Hip Hop Radio (on continual loop with visuals) while active content will showcase live events happening in real time. Once we have enough content and a decent sized viewer base, we will create a schedule and organize content and events through a discord server.
The 'Artists' page is a resource for discovering unknown music, connecting with creators, and providing them with a platform to share a little about themselves and their art/music. Each artist listing contains links to respective artist pages on social media and streaming services.
I'm slowly organizing all of this information and building what I hope can be a legitimate business one day. Being that this is a Kentucky startup, I have been making lots of connections with Kentucky artists. Moving forward, we will release content under this project that can be used on the stream to further promote this project and each other.
This is a startup community of artists. I hope to create a platform for underground artists to share fanbases across genres and geographical location.
